Stanley Robotics is a highly ambitious robotics start-up launched in January 2015. Set to revolutionise the car-parking world with an automated valet service, our robots can move any vehicle. We don’t just want to make the experience of car parking better; we want to get rid of it altogether! Already seeing strong growth with several key accounts (car parking providers), Stanley Robotics has raised equity from big name investors and is rolling out in 2018 several large-scale projects.

Position is based in London.


The Role

You will be leading our first innovative project in the UK with one of the largest airports in London. You will be responsible of launching this new project by spring 2019 and hiring a junior project manager.

You will also contribute to the acquisition of new project deals in the UK.

The mission

We are looking for a senior project leader with a technical background. A person who is daring, conscientious, questioning, and with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Drive both Stanley Robotics’ team and airport’s organisation (from operational level to executive management) to launch the first stage of our project by spring 2019.

You will have to show excellent stakeholder management skills that will be crucial to the success of our project (Quality/Costs/Lead time).

- Build a strong relationship with our client and lead all stages of our project (contracts, insurance, etc).

- Ensure our project costs stay in line with our initial budget and that KPIs are met.

- Further projects: hire A-players, and lead our future UK project team.

Your profile

  • Ideally you will have a technical background in robotics, connectivity, electronics or construction with minimum 10 years experience
  • Experience with airports would be a very significant plus
  • Experience with parking and with transportation projects
  • You are excited by the challenge of working in a startup
  • Native English speaker
  • French language would be a nice add-on
  • Regular trips to France (mainly Paris) will be required
